Description: Very large book, 12 1/2 inches by 10, superbly illustrated. Complete Pentateuch of the bible (besides first 40 pages) translated into German with interesting and illuminating annotations on the bottom.
Condition: Fragile paper, many illustrations with what looks like child's writing as shown in picture, missing first 40 pages but has the remaining 440! and a few of the illustration leaves of the initial pages are included. You can spend hours looking at the illustrations. Many of the litho's are full page size! 3 maps included in the back, one has a rip. Includes original covers, bottom part of spine cover missing but the identification of the book still there.
