The Routledge & Kegan Paul Ltd. Machzor Set -1 English Translation Prose & Verse

  • $299.00

Description: This is a nice reprint of the famous Routledge Machzor set of England first published in 1906. This is a reprint probably from the 1950's in leather with gold gilt edges and nice gold inside cover borders. This has 5 volumes, missing one volume, the Day Of Atonement I (Yom Kippur Evening prayers). This follows the Minhagim of England, e.g. Only 4 blows of the Shofar between segments in the Chazzans recital of Shemona Esrei. It contains only one of the Yikum Purkan Prayers for Sabbath and many other variations. Printed in Great Britain by Lowe And Brydone. And it doesn't exactly go like the Mishnah Berurah.

Condition: Pretty nice condition, good binding, one volume (Tabernacles) has some edge markings on some of the anterior pages.
No written names or inscriptions in any of the books.
